SMART DINING NOOK
DINING ROOM
This dining room in Mira Community got a much-needed facelift and our lovely clients couldn’t be happier with the result! The brief included comfortable seating with easy-to-clean fabrics suitable for a young family, added storage, a neutral colour palette with a few pops of colour and statement lighting that would take the focus away from the recessed ceiling… We think we answered the brief! We started the design scheme with a neutral palette of beige and light blue and added our signature wall paint design mixing mustard yellow and taupe stripes for a bit of wow factor. And chose the artwork in the same colour palette.
The dining nook is made of a custom bench (cleverly concealing much-needed storage underneath) and a beautiful made-to-measure oak veneer oval dining chair. The seating pads have been produced using waterproof fabrics and can be easily wipe-cleaned. As for that annoying tray ceiling? This stunning ceiling spider pendant light frames the whole area perfectly.
