Welcome to our very own Stella’s bedroom. We designed it together from concepts to execution. The inspiration came from a vibrant room by Oh Joy we found on Pinterest while looking for ideas and it all snowballed from there. It’s the first time Stella has been old enough to help me with ideas, decisions, and even styling. We had so much fun and it was one of the highlights of lockdown. This room was decorated on a budget - the majority of the accessories, art prints, and soft furnishings were reused from her old bedroom, and most of the new furniture is from IKEA so we had to be creative to jazz it all up. So the piece de resistance is this simple yet ridiculously fun indoor swing. Stella absolutely loves it and I can’t believe such a simple idea could be so effective. Hours of relaxing on her swing rethinking the world. And not a bit of plastic involved! The paint color is called Good Morning Sunshine by Benjamin Moore. Apt or what?!
